Out Patient Department (OPD) is the busiest department amongst all cardiac hospital in the country. A purposely build four story OPD building has been newly constructed with adequate facilities of daily clinics for adult cardiology, pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. ECG, ETT & Pathology collection point are facilitating the patients in OPD. Medical consultant along with a team of highly trained doctors attends OPD in rotation. Free medicines are provided to around 1800 patients daily in OPD. Separate floors are designated for new and re-visiting patients. Computerized record of all patients is maintained.
The Out Patient Department is an indispensable part of Alkhidmat Tharparkar Hospital as this is the first point of contact with our patients.
Catering to at least 500,000 patients per year, our OPD is equipped with its own ECG, ETT and Laboratory facilities as well as a Pharmacy where medicines are provided at minimal rates to patients on a fortnightly basis.
In order to meet the pressure of increasing number of patients, Alkhidmat Tharparkar Hospital is currently working on expanding its existing OPD facility so as to accommodate an even higher influx of patients.
